Law Office mail and document input, retrieval and presentation software position.
An administrative office clerical position is open to an individual with office clerical experience in our fast paced Garden City law firm. Experience with software data and organizational functions are a must. Software functions for this position include the inputting of data and mail and documents on client cases as well as the retrieval of information that provides analysis and presentation of legal proceedings. Examples of the software programs our firm currently uses are Microsoft Office, FileVine, Sanctions and virtual meetings such as Zoom & Team/Microsoft meetings.
Daily focus involves the receipt and review of correspondence, documents and records received through the mail that must be categorized and inputted into client files before receipt by lawyers and paralegals. Other responsibilities include the management and upkeep of various copier and scanning devices as well as the ordering of office supplies. Help with virtual meeting glitches is a plus.
Ready and willing to accompany attorney to court to technically present the data is also a plus.
Must be able to communicate with law firm employees in a professional manner.
Excellent organizational skills are required.
