We Need Your Skills

Job Description: Coater

Ability to follow direction from Lead Hand and/or Supervisor with regards to the coating department.

Responsible for moving sticks (per work order) from staging area to the area of operation.

Able to determine whether sticks will be coated in the standard coating jig, or the “Ultimate Coating Jig”, or whether sticks are to be coated in the form of sheets; and set-up accordingly.

Ensures the correct stick with the right dimensions (i.e. type of foam, cut depth, etc.) are selected for coating per work order.

Ensures the correct silicone is used as per the work order.

Able to follow coating charts and outlined coating procedures.

Must be able to perform all appropriate operator’s maintenance and fill out the necessary log sheet as required.

Ensures all work in progress materials during and/or after operation are moved to the appropriate staging area.

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, or more with a helper

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Consistent attendance and punctuality

Ensures compliance with company procedure and policies

Performs all duties in accordance with health and safety work requirements

Job Description: Packaging

Liaison with the Packaging Lead Hand and Supervisor to ensuring all orders are shipped timely

Ensure all products are manufactured, labeled and packaged to Emseal quality standards

Responsible to inform the Lead Hand if items related to packaging need to be replenished

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, or more with a helper

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Ability to work well independently or as part of a team

Consistent attendance and punctuality

Ensures compliance with company procedure and policies

Performs all duties in accordance with health and safety work requirements

Job Description: Specialty

Organize impregnated foam on skid/trolleys, etc.

Lay impregnated foam on the rolling conveyor table

Assemble cartons for packaging and shipping purposes

Package reels, foam pads, etc.

Label reels, pads, boxes, etc. as required

Shrink wrap skids as required

Assist with general clean-up in the Specialty department

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Ability to work well independently or as part of a team
