The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience with Talent Acquisition in the construction industry (entry level requirement) but will have 1-2 years of experience recruiting for an EPC contractor in solar energy recruitment. Solar experience is not required but candidates with this experience will go to the top of the candidate pool.

Reports to: Manager of Talent Acquisition

Works closely with: All field and office staff involved in the recruiting process

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Be a driver of the company culture and Core Principles in a way that will influence others.
• Work with hiring managers to identify true needs of a position and accurately presenting it in a job posting.
• Vet resumes for requisitions in order to identify candidates that not only possess the technical skills needed but also align with the company culture.
• Plan, schedule, and actively manage phone, video, and face-to-face interviews.
• Assist in scheduling interviews with candidates and actively communicate with hiring managers for post-interview feedback.
• Manage applicant status in UKG recruiting and actively communicate with applicants throughout the life of the recruiting process. This is important to drive a positive candidate experience.
• Support management of the intern program
• Support management of external partnerships (e.g., external recruiters, professional associations, industry associations, etc.)
• Drive business development, brand recognition, and employee value proposition components both internally and externally.
• Communicate and coordinate with various departments, such as: Corporate HR, payroll, IT, and Accounting.
• Never say “that’s not my job”…have a servant’s heart in helping those around you.

Qualifications/Experiences:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, psychology, communications, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of work experience related to talent acquisition.
• Able and willing to work non-traditional hours as needed to support the Australia office
• Able and willing to travel to construction sites across the US.
• Prior experience as a talent acquisition specialist/recruiter is required with at least 1 year in the utility scale solar market highly preferred.
• Communications, marketing, and social media management experience is highly desirable
• Experience in the fields of construction, engineering, and utilities is highly desirable

• Strong coordination, time management, active listening, verbal and written communication skills, innovative mindset. We can always make things better, critical thinking and reasoning skills.
• Self-motivated, able to learn quickly and independently.
• Computer literacy and proficiency using Application Tracking Systems (preferably Taleo), Microsoft Office, and job posting sites.
