Sightline has been providing 3D/color vision systems and automation solutions to some of the world’s largest manufacturers since 2009, with a focus on creating better, more affordable inspection systems that are not another proprietary ‘black box.’ Our systems use only non-proprietary components in the design and only use open source software tools to ensure longevity and avoid obsolescence.
Sightline offers a range of standard, ‘off the shelf’ inspection systems as well as the ability to create customized, ‘turn-key’ solutions if required. With over 220 installed systems, we have extensive experience in a wide range of customer products, factory environments and imaging techniques.

Sightline is based in Kanata, Ontario, Canada and has sales and service staff based in the United States, and across Europe as well.
Summary about the position
Sightline Customer success engineers are responsible for providing applications, technical, and service support for Sightline systems. This position reports to the Customer Success Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work Environment:
Employee will be working in a manufacturing environment. Employee’s tasks may require repetitive use of small hand tools, computers and analytical equipment as well as light to moderate lifting. All lifting over 50 lbs will be done with mechanical lifting equipment (gantry crane, pallet jack) or by teams of 2 or more people.
Employee tasks may require extended periods of sitting, standing, walking and walking up and down stairs.
Typical customer site activities will be in food processing plants, where personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required while on-site. While performing customer on-site visits, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, climb ladders and cat-walks, and use hands and fingers to operate computers and analytical equipment.
