We are looking for an accounting manager to support two well established businesses in Incline Village, NV: a design build construction company and an interior design firm. The accounting manager will supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day activities. We are looking for someone to work closely with the owners of the companies.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of accounting, including: month and end-year processes, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, and payroll.
• Must have a strong background in project accounting and cash management.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of all accounts payable and receivables.
• Manage company cash flow.
• Prepare analysis and reconciliation of monthly financial activity.
• Analyze, monitor, and report project results to owners.
• Prepare financial information for tax returns.
• Manage annual insurance audits.

Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the accounting industry. Construction/project accounting experience is preferred
• Organized leader with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Quickbooks Online experience a plus
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• BS degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
