We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Logistics specialist to join our team. As the Project Logistics specialist, you will be responsible for executing all logistics and transport-related activities in our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Execute all logistics and transport-related activities in projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods and materials.
• Organize shipping and transport, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Communicate project logistics information to relevant parties, including project teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Develop comprehensive logistics plans, considering factors such as budget, timelines, and project requirements.
• Create and regularly update the Master Ship List (MSL), ensuring accurate tracking of shipments and inventory.
• Review and file purchase orders (PO) related to logistics and transport, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Obtain freight and packing quotes from various vendors, comparing prices and services to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Manage storage requirements for project materials, coordinating with warehouse personnel to optimize space utilization.
• Assist in expediting project timelines by proactively addressing logistics challenges and resolving issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with HTS codes for export business, understanding and implementing relevant regulations.
• Help coordinate VAT and duties related to project logistics, ensuring adherence to legal requirements.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in project logistics and transport operations, preferably in a project-based environment.
• In-depth knowledge of shipping and transportation processes, including customs regulations and documentation requirements.
• Proficiency in using logistics management software and tools.
• Familiarity with HTS codes and export compliance regulations.
• Knowledge of VAT and duties coordination is preferred.

• The pay range for this position is $86-117K The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
