What will you do?

Assess requests for feasibility regarding cost and implementation of new product configurations.

Develop solutions for application problems for process instrumentations

Apply Mechanical Engineering principles to facilitate cost-effective solutions for our customers

Create design information including drawings, bills of material, manufacturing bills of materials and associated documentation

Apply engineering knowledge to develop product design with full consideration of applicable regulatory approvals (eg. CSA, ATEX, UL, etc)

Apply engineering knowledge and guidance for manufacturability, purchasing, design verification and production testing.

Communicate and interact with several departments.

Customer oriented, process oriented and business oriented person.

Qualifications

Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering

5 to 8 years experience in manufacturing

Professional Engineer eligibility

Experience with CAD engineering software tools Pro-Engineer, Siemens NX, AutoCad

Experience with Teamcenter (Engineering database )

Experience with ERP systems SAP

Experience in working with metals and synthetic materials

Excellent project management skills with the ability to be involved in different projects at the same time

Ability to work under time pressure to complete designs bills of materials and have orders processed for customer

Excellent English oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent customer focus
