As the IT Financial Controller, you will report directly to the SE AC IT Controller and have in country management alignment for local topics, while interacting with many parts of the organization including international team members. The successful candidate must have exceptional leadership skills and strong financial background to continue to move Siemens Energy forward in its journey of success.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Support overall financial controlling topics which include timely and accurate financial reporting
• Provide financial transparency and opportunities for improvement to SE AC IT Controlling Team & IT Partner
• Work with IT Business Partner during planning and forecasting to ensure sound financial commitments
• Safeguard that the operational structure for IT cost and services are in place and value flow is adhered
• Ensure sound commercial contracts exist including Internal Service Agreements between legal entities in Siemens Energy
• Responsible for ongoing financial reporting within IT and AC as well as providing relevant input towards local US requirements
• Assess, align and implement financial processes following global, regional & local guidelines and drive harmonization
• Successfully manage relationships within IT, Country CFO and Global Accounting & Controlling organization to support financial requirements

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in financial field
• Candidate must have 8+ years of working experience and minimum of 4 in financial related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required with all levels of organization
• Strong leadership skills and desire to challenge quid pro quo
• Style of working is proactive with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Successful candidate has strong analytical capabilities paired with result and quality orientation
• Candidate is self-determined, identify areas to improve, digitize an automate reports and processes
• Demonstrated ability to bring the benefits of finance to solve business issues while also managing cost
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers
• As a federal contractor, Siemens Energy continues to monitor federal and state legal guidelines regarding the COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
