Siegwerk Hiring for Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter Job at Des Moines, IA Full Time

Siegwerk is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Des Moines, IA. In this role you will provide full-cycle recruiting support through all levels of the organization. This includes partnering with Hiring Managers and HR to set and drive strategy, goals, process, and metrics while managing the recruiting process.

Siegwerk has a hybrid work schedule, with typically two days per week of in-office work.

Responsibilities:

• Management of the entire recruiting life-cycle: sourcing resumes/ candidates, conducting phone interviews and scheduling interviews, extending offers, new hire orientations, tracking and reporting on candidate and interview data.

• Assist with the development and implementation of creative staffing strategies to provide a qualified and diverse candidate pool. Examples may include community outreach, area partnerships, career fairs, etc.

• Maintain a variety of recruiting sources that provide appropriate candidate flow. Track and monitor employee retention through stay interviews.

• Develop and use social media for networking, sourcing, communication and recruiting efforts.

• Demonstrate enthusiasm and high-level of initiative while working diligently and consistently to be a high performing team member in a high performance culture.

• Qualify potential candidates through phone interviews, in-person interviews and reference checks. Possess a strong ability to screen and prepare candidates within appropriate and consistent timelines.

• Coordinate, streamline and ensure timely on-boarding of new employees including orientation.

• Maintain turnover statistics/metrics and recommend retention strategies.

• Assist with HRIS administration and generation/distribution of monthly reporting.

• Other special projects: organize or assist with employee events – United Way, summer event/picnic, anniversary party; possible international projects, etc.

• Miscellaneous tasks, and other duties as assigned

Education

• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) with HR related coursework and/or 5+ years of professional level HR Talent Acquisition experience.

• Familiarity with ADP, HRIS, SAP SuccessFactors, Indeed, bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.

• Previous experience in manufacturing, within a multi-site/international diverse company, strongly preferred. HR/Recruiting certification is also a plus.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities & Experience

• Ability to demonstrate excitement and enthusiasm for all areas of responsibility. Should be comfortable as an active internal/external networker. Position is best owned by a self-starter requiring minimal supervision.

• Proficiency in managing and prioritizing high volume requisitions/multiple searches.

• Experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive online research, company image branding and community partnerships.

• Strong client focus and commitment to continuous improvement; ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships, must pursue conscious cons-containment efforts in recruiting, continually seek new sourcing options and develop creative approaches to delivering candidates to the customer.

• Strong communication, organization and negotiation skills.

• Ability to execute recruiting strategy, including candidate management, diversity sourcing and interview process management.

• Experience working with hiring managers at all levels.

• Knowledge of compliance required for hiring practices.

• Experience with various job boards and social networking sites.

• Knowledge of Federal and State law as it pertains to HR Management, including FLSA, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, COBRA, HIPPA, ADA, etc.

• Ability to resolve conflict and knowledge of process improvement is required.

Salary Range: $65,000 – $85,000 annually
