As an Android developer, you’ll be passionate about using tech for good and making an impact on a global scale. You’ll need to be able to work within our Android team to help develop global apps and deliver challenging projects. Don’t expect to stay in your comfort zone, we’re looking for someone willing to push the boundaries and continuously be innovating the way we do things.

The Stuff You Already Have:

• A good understanding of Java and experience of using it to develop Android apps
• Familiarity with Kotlin and React Native and a desire to learn them in more detail
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with a great attitude
• Knowledge of engineering practices and what defines good quality code
• Learning new technologies and approaches to building good software
• Knowledge of version control systems. We use Git.

What Makes You Special?

• Experience writing Kotlin code and interoperating with Java code
• Experience writing React Native apps, or experience with modern Javascript and React
• Desire to contribute to team practices and help push them forwards
• Experience interacting with REST APIs.
