Shurtape Technologies, LLC, is a leading manufacturer and marketer of adhesive tape and consumer home and office products, offering products under recognizable brand names such as Duck, FrogTape, Painters Mate, Shurtape, T-Rex and Kip.

Were looking for a hard-working, creative individual to fulfill our Talent Acquisition Internship. This is a great opportunity for college students or recent graduates who are looking to build their skill set within the fast-growing human resources team.

Although the internship is primarily focused around recruiting activities, you will have the opportunity to work on projects in all aspects of human resources, including compensation, operations and talent development.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is a fast-paced work environment with consistent pressure to complete duties as outlined above which requires ability to manage multiple projects at a detailed level and provide support to many internal departments in a fast-changing environment.

Many duties listed above are time-sensitive and have strict deadlines for completion.

Responsibilities :

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Consults with hiring manager and HR Business Partner to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s).
• Collects and analyzes data to maintain current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries (in collaboration with the compensation department), candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields.
• Consults data and records to identify and select potential candidates for vacant positions.
• Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase, and then connects viable candidates with hiring managers.
• Counsels candidates on the interview and hiring process.
• Organizes and attends job fairs and other networking opportunities.
• Follows up with hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collects feedback when placement is unsuccessful.
• Assist with the management of intern activities and programming throughout the summer.
