JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Working toward bachelor’s degree in Business, preferably with a concentration in Logistics or Supply Chain management
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools – Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in teams as well as independently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to recognize and bring to management’s attention a variety of issues
• Strong ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is a fast-paced work environment with consistent pressure to complete duties as outlined above which requires ability to manage multiple projects at a detailed level and provide support to many internal departments in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

The Logistics Intern will support Customer Care, Distribution and Transportation team members with various tasks and projects assigned.

• Assist with continuous process improvement projects (office and operations)
• Assist with weekly ing
• Create new Business Intelligence (BI) s
• Support Logistics team members and assist with any current workload
• Other related duties as assigned
• Learn about and participate in the Shurtape culture through attending meetings, training / development sessions, and getting involved.
• Gain an understanding of the operation, systems, processes, and people within the operations team
