Shriners Children’s is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opening for a Patient Access Representative to join our team.
This position is full time, non-exempt and benefits eligible. The pay range for this position is $22.85 – $34.27/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity.
The Patient Access Representative is the first person that our patients and caregivers will have the opportunity to interact. This position provides support to our patients as they are experiencing a life changing event. The support is accomplished by working with the caregiver to schedule appointments, perform pre-registration and registration of new and existing patients, and providing patients with information regarding access to additional external financial resources. In this position, you will have the opportunity to support our patients with issues dealing with scheduling and questions for the provider(s). In addition, you will maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory agencies by obtaining various consents.
