Title: Logistics Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY: The Logistics Assistant will facilitate the efficient and timely scheduling and delivery of customer orders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Before Road Net, utilize manual routing system to prepare daily delivery routes, and drivers delivery manifest.
• Calling customers, the day before delivery to verify contact information and delivery details.
• Upon Road Net implementation, develops daily route assignments based on scheduling and customer requirements utilizing Roadnet.
• Utilize computerized routing system (i.e., RoadNet,) to track schedules, changes in assignments/routes and maintain follow-up information.
• Prepare UPS, LTL, and TL shipping paperwork.
• Partner with the Sales Team and SVS Drivers to resolve customer issues or concerns.
• Answering phones as needed.
• Coordinate RMA pickups with customers and other departments
• Maintain Trucking Equipment maintenance files.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Dispatch and Routing Experience
• Computer literate, ability to use MS Office
