We’re looking for someone special to join the Talent Support Operations team as a Talent Support Operations Lead for the EMEA and APAC regions. Our Talent Support Operations team impacts those memorable moments in a candidate and employee journey at Shopify. From reach outs to short list interviews, how and when they receive their job offer, day to day questions supporting them through constant change and iteration, all the way through to their last day at Shopify. Our mission is to deliver a human-centered, consistent candidate, employee and Talent experience so Shopify can continue to grow and make commerce better for everyone.
In this role you will be:
Leading a team of Employee Support, Talent Systems and Recruitment Coordination for EMEA and APAC
Using relevant context and expertise to provide support and strategic direction to your teams and Talent Support Operations
Quickly designing and delivering efficient solutions to solve for immediate issues (technical issues, process implications, etc)
Acting as an escalation point within the Talent Operations team
Coordinating and managing craft support across the teams
Monitoring workload and re-balancing activities across the teams, as required
Building out reports and dashboards to measure delivery and performance. Establishing a baseline for capacity
Using data to identify opportunities to improve our talent processes, tools and resources that drive enablement
Informing senior leadership of operational successes and challenges and advise on solutions and strategy accordingly
Partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to identify, recommend, and implement opportunities for talent process improvement
Collaborating with the Talent Support Operations Lead, Americas, to ensure consistency in the employee experience and craft of coordination.
Strong people leadership and coaching skills, especially in times of ambiguity and change
Ability to quickly prioritize and action based on competing priorities and technical issues
Experience in Workday or other HRMS/HRIS
Deep understanding of Talent/Human Resources processes – including benefits, payroll, employment law, as well as being able to pick up our internal processes quickly
Demonstrated stakeholder management at all levels
Experience streamlining disparate processes in a scalable way – preferably through automation
Growth mindset
Creative solutions thinker who enjoys the details of execution delivery
