I have a brilliant career opportunity for an experienced health & safety professional who has hands on experience working in civil engineering sector to work on a project across Lancashire/Yorkshire region. This position will be working as part of a team on a project and have responsibility for developing and leading other Health & Safety Advisors on site.

The Senior Health & Safety Advisor will be responsible for:

• Promoting a positive & proactive health & safety culture across the project
• Undertake site inspections, accident investigation and report near misses when required
• Contribute to the growth and development of other health & safety individuals
• The go to for health & safety advice, support and guidance
• Support the Project & Contracts Manager in delivery of health & safety on site
• Engage with key stakeholder on the project and wider business.

The Senior Health & Safety Advisor will have:

• 3 years plus experience working in health & safety
• Qualified to Diploma level or equivalent – Grad IOSH
• Previous experience working in a civil engineering environment is essential – knowledge of highways would be a distinct advantage
• Proactive and engaging individual who has a passion for health & safety
