I have a brilliant career opportunity for an experience health & safety professional who has hands on experience working in civil engineering sector and led a team across a region. This will be the lead position in the East Anglia & East Midlands region so will be responsible for the implementation and delivery of the SHEQ strategy.

The Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for:

• Promoting a positive & proactive health & safety culture across the business unit
• Undertake site inspections, accident investigation and report near misses when required
• To monitor and report health & safety performance across the region to senior management and project directors
• The go to for health & safety advice, support and guidance
• Support with the development and training of the team in the region

The Health & Safety Manager will have:

• 3 years plus experience working in health & safety
• Qualified to Diploma level or equivalent – Grad IOSH
• Previous experience working in a civil engineering environment is essential – knowledge of rail would be a distinct advantage
• Proactive and engaging individual who has a passion for health & safety
