We’re looking to hire an exceptional day care director to manage our day-to-day operations and provide a stimulating learning environment for children. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in managing all aspects of daycare as well as strong leadership skills. You should also have a friendly demeanor and strive to create a supportive and nurturing environment for both the children and staff. If you are passionate about having an impact upon toddlers and children in pre-K, the Education Director role might be for you.
Responsibilities:
Directors must ensure their programs, facility, and staff are in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Directors must manage and develop curricula with teachers that comply with local and federal requirements.
Interview, hire, and train new employees, ensuring they comply with company policies and legal requirements.
Mentor and train teachers and staff on effectively implementing educational materials.
Ensure the center facility is safe for children and comply with laws and regulations.
Ensure the facility is maintained and cleaned in accordance with state regulations.
Effectively evaluates children’s performance to ensure they are on the right track.
Meet with parents and teachers to discuss students’ progress.
Directors must possess strong leadership, organization, problem-solving, time management, and interpersonal skills.
Prepares requests to purchase equipment and supplies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Candidates must have 3 years of strong leadership experience with the ability to develop and inspire a team, preferably in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Education setting.
CPR and First Aid Certificate.
Candidates must satisfy state education and licensing requirements.
Candidates must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 to ensure compliance with company health and safety protocols.
