About the job:

We are a small finance team looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to manage the day to day business finances. The ideal candidate will have a finance degree, previous experience as a Bookkeeper, and experience using QuickBooks desktop. This role is ultimately responsible for the day to day business transactions and overseeing the finance department.

Job Responsibilities:

• oversee accounts payable and receivable team
• review and approve invoices to ensure accuracy
• reconcile bank and credit card statements
• process monthly commission checks
• setup new client contracts in billing system as well as Quickbooks
• assist with complex invoices and client payments
• responsible for monthly cost of goods adjustments
• manage fixed assets
• handle sensitive collection accounts
• reply to client emails/requests for information in a timely manner
• oversee weekly and monthly client billing
• review of AR to ensure compliance
• process 1099s
• provide payroll backup

Skills:

• Strong organizational skills
• Work efficiently with a high degree of accuracy
• Effective communication skills with customers and employees both verbally and written
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivables principals

Qualifications:

• Bookkeeping: 3 years (preferred)
• QuickBooks: 3 years (preferred)
• Microsoft Office: 3 years (preferred)
• Associates Degree (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
