Your (awesome) team and role!
Working within our awesome high-functioning Finance team, you will report to the Financial Controller and be responsible for the day-to-day accounting function to ensure accurate and timely reporting, internal control and support the daily finance operation whilst maintaining integrity as Shippit continues to scale.
Day to day!
* Month end activities including manual journal, GL reconciliation with timeliness and accuracy.
* Process monthly payroll for Australia and Singapore employees including relevant lodging payroll related compliance and payroll transactions.
* Supporting AP/ AR processes including processing vendor invoices, customer billing, bank reconciliations.
* Handling internal stakeholder and external clients’ queries to solve all finance related queries.
* Assist with the annual audit.
* Prepare local and international regulatory compliance including GST, FBT, PRT, BAS and ensure on-time lodgement.
Our ideal Shippster – You!
We can’t be too picky… However, you’ll be degree qualified in Accounting and accredited with a CPA/ CA (or at least working towards it). Ideally we’d love for you to have prior experience with finance systems and tools, exposure to working with Xero and/ or NetSuite and strong Excel skills. You’ll be a natural problem solver, quality communicator and have an eye for detail.
