About The Position
This position is responsible for shipping and receiving product while maintaining a safety-minded attitude that enhances the company’s safety culture. The role involves various tasks related to material handling and inventory management.
Requirements
- Frequently communicates and converses in English
- Able to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Basic working knowledge of computer applications
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and USDA regulations preferred
- Maintain workspace in an organized and orderly manner
- Treat equipment with respect and report any equipment damage
- Work closely with maintenance to root cause problems and create practices to avoid damaging equipment
- Hand-off all equipment in an organized manner to other shifts
- Minimum of one year forklift experience

Responsibilities
- Loads and unloads materials from inbound and outbound trucks
- Verifies condition and quantity of materials being shipped or received
- Moves, stores, stacks, and delivers materials and products to designated storage or production areas
- Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts and walkers
- Scans and verifies data in Adage matches actual shipments as needed
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned
