Shining Waters Marine is in search of both Boat Yard Labourers beginning as early as mid-April 2023. We are seeking those that love an energetic and dynamic work environment to grow with our Marina Team.

BOAT YARD CREW (2 Positions); This candidate will be working outside in all weather and enjoys the challenge of planning with weather and tide. They are fit, responsible and engaged in supporting a safety first approach to operations, a high level of customer service with a focus on flexibility and overall helpfulness. They will assist with launching, hauling, cleaning vessels of all sizes and shapes with a variety of equipment types. These skills will be honed through training and employee development.

Shining Waters is willing to cover training costs via Marine Travel Lift to operate a sling lift/ Hyster Forklift/ Manitou Tele-handler and 2x Hydraulic Yard Trailer(s). You will receive both certifications at the end of the season once requisite experience has been completed.

Other training/ certification opportunities with this role are PCOC and Marine Radio/ Lots of experience towing boats with lots of time working on the water.

Job Details: Mid- April start through Nov 2023, Monday- Friday 8 hours per day/ 40 hrs. per week with chance of overtime from time to time.

Pay Range: $18.00-23.50/ hour depending on experience
