Shift Products Ltd. is Looking for Packer and Shipper Full Time

Shift Products Ltd. is a growing aftermarket semi truck accessory manufacturing and dealer-based company in West St. Paul, Manitoba. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team in a fun, relaxed yet productive environment.

The Packer and Shipper is responsible for assembling and packaging Shift Products Ltd. parts, operating and maintaining tools and equipment in the warehouse as well as Shipping and Receiving.

Duties included but not limited to:

– Build and organize products to fill orders and stage in designated areas.

– Prepare orders by picking, packing, wrapping and labelling product.

-Operate tools and equipment in the Shift Warehouse. Equipment includes but is not limited to Forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, hand tools and power tools.

-Perform Outbound/Inbound Shipping/Receiving department functions including unloading/loading parts onto trailers and trucks.

– Maintain full pick slots of high volume parts.

-Maintain inventory of incoming, stored and outgoing goods. This includes communicating inventory shortages and overages.

-Contact carrier representatives to obtain quotes, pick up/drop off times, and to issue proper documents and instructions for shipping of Shift Products parts in a timely manner.

-Maintaining overall warehouse cleanliness and organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

-Must have legal Driver’s License

-Knowledge of semi-truck applications particularly Kenworth and Peterbilt.

-Must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

-Must be able to navigate well on a PC computer and the Internet. Knowledge of Outlook and Excel are an asset.

-Excellent oral and written communication skills are required with an aptitude for detail.

-Attention to detail is paramount to ensure customer satisfaction.

-Posses or has the ability to acquire valid Forklift License and operate this piece of equipment safely and efficiently.

-Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a continual daily basis.

-Must have own transportation. No bus route to this location.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $17.25-$19.00 per hour
