We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Includes working closely with our accounting team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance. Our ideal candidate holds an Accounting degree (Associates preferred; Bookkeeping Certificate) and is proficient with QuickBooks.

Responsibilities: Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process; enter data, maintain records and financial statements; process accounts receivable/payable, credit card reconciliations, and month-end bank reconciliations; contact vendors and clients when needed. Must be able to lift 10-40 lbs. and perform other office duties.

Skills: Bookkeeping experience preferred. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles. Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records. Data entry skills along with attention to detail. Proficient in Excel. Excellent written and verbal skills. Must be able to work independently with little supervision. Adhere to crucial deadlines. Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Qualifications:

– Bookkeeping experience (preferred)

– Accounting Associates Degree or Bookkeeping Certificate preferred

– Proficient in QuickBooks

– Reliable and dependable

– Proficient in Excel

– Experience:

• QuickBooks: minimum 3 years
• Bookkeeping: minimum 3 years

This position will be working primarily indoors in a climate-controlled, smoke-free environment, but also requires the employee to be moving through other areas on a regular basis. From this movement, the employee will encounter varying temperatures from these areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be higher in other areas or when visiting vendor sites
