Job Purpose

In this role you will be responsible for developing software and applications solutions as an integral part of a fast moving and passionate team. Responsible for developing and extending both online health and safety systems, as well as new bespoke projects. Be able to apply modern software development practices including and apply quality assurance practices to improve software development quality, timeliness, efficiency and productivity. You will also be heavily involved in the development of the RiskProof – a responsive Single Page Application using cutting edge front-end web development technologies, such as Angular/AngularJS, HTML5, NativeScript and TypeScript. This is supported by C# .Net APIs and hosted on Azure.

Key Responsibilities
Design

· Development planning

· Software design

· Validate software design with Senior/Lead developer

Software Development

· Front end development using Angular, JavaScript, HTML and CSS

· Middle tier development using C#, EF Core, LINQ using .NET Framework/.NET 5

· SQL Server, TSQL and scripting

· Azure Functions, Azure Data Factories, Azure Logic Apps

· Adhering to coding standards and security principles

Testing

· TDD

· Unit Testing

· Supporting the team QA when required

Support

· Issue Resolution

· Code Review

General

· Own Personal development

· Take part in development team meetings

· Escalating issues to the Senior Developer

· Personal time management

· Liaising with other members of the team in a professional manner

· Acting professionally when liaising with external stakeholders

Skills & Experience
· 1 years’ experience as a Software Developer in a commercial setting

· C# 1 year of commercial experience

· Full stack web development

· Modern Javascript frameworks preferably Angular

· Web and REST apis

· SQL preferably Azure/MS SQL

The following would be advantageous:

· Octopus

· Nativescript

· Cloud deployment and services preferably Azure

· NoSQL

· GIT

· Agile development methodologies
