Job SummaryThe Talent Acquisition Specialist’s purpose is to attract, source, and hire new talent for SHI through the recruitment process.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner closely with hiring managers to hire the most qualified candidate for open positions.
This position s to the Talent Acquisition Manager and will be required to to the SHI Somerset, NJ or Austin, TX office location.

World-class facilities and the technology you need to thrive in our offices or yours.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include but are not limited to : Screens resumes / CV, selects suitable profiles and assesses candidatesCollects feedback of candidates from hiring managementDiscuss and negotiates compensation during offer presentationsSchedules and conducts interviews of candidatesSources candidates utilizing tools provided and using out of the box thinking / techniquesRegular use of Social Media, including LinkedIn and other job boardsPosts jobs and relevant articles to attract candidatesMeets assigned hiring deadlines and headcount fulfillment for open positionsLiaises with HR and marketing teams on strategy and assists with relevant general HR and marketing team projects / tasksAssists with onsite events and career fairs locally and nationallySeeks referrals and recommendations to source potential candidatesUnderstands and adheres to the hiring process, policy, and all other areas related to communicate effectively to SHI staffAnswers candidate’s inquiries via email and phone as well as assisting with on-boarding processes for new starters.
Understands agreements / contracts (non-solicitation / non-compete) relating to employmentHandles and constructs confidential documentss to HR Management on an ongoing basis, to monitor and feedback progress on assigned vacanciesData Entry, including but not limited to excel spreadsheets, offer letter creation and internal systemsStay up-to-date with Industry Trends to increase company and professional brand profile and meet potential candidatesQualificationsUniversity / Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent experience2+ years of strong sourcing / recruitment experience gained within a corporate setting or agencyRecruiting / sourcing subject matter expert with a proven track record of direct sourcingRequired SkillsAbility to think creatively and critically relative to finding talentExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem / solving research skills with a keen attention to detailConflict resolution abilitiesAbility to demonstrates good judgement and decision makingAbility to work effectively within a highly ambiguous, fast-paced environmentAbility to collaborate and influence othersAbility to work under significant pressure with challenging deadlines, simultaneously managing multiple tasks and projectsAbility to change gears on short notice and adapt quickly and seamlesslyAbility to create partnerships / relationships with hiring managers and candidatesAbility to meet assigned hiring deadlines and headcount fulfillment for open positionsAbility to cold call and communicate effectively to potential candidatesAbility to understand agreements / contracts (non-solicitation / non-compete) relating to employmentAbility to handle and keep confidential information privatePreferred SkillsExperience with iCIMS ATS or otherUnique RequirementsTravel to Career Fairs and Hiring EventsAdditional InformationThe estimated annual pay range for this position is $45,000 – $75,000 which includes a base salary and bonus.
The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
