Fantastic role offering the opportunity to take ownership for key activities that directly influences the efficiency of financial reporting, availability of accurate MI and ensures the smooth day to day running financial operations within the organisation.

• Management and development of the month end process ensuring the timely and accurate provision of income statement and statement of financial position balances to tight deadlines.
• Lead in setting up Management Expenses budget for the coming financial year; liaising, supporting and challenging budget holders at set up and performance throughout year.
• Identifying any variances to budget or forecasted positions and providing insight, analysis and commentary to support these variances. Providing support to the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager in production of the annual budget & quarterly forecasts.
• Managing the year-end statutory accounts including resolution of audit queries communicating relevant information to budget holders.
• Responsible for review and sign off of daily/weekly reconciliations e.g. bank reconciliations and interfacing to core system.
• Opportunity to manage 2 analysts
