The Role
The duties of the Assistant Financial Controller include:

• Accruals/prepayments

• Assist with the preparation of Management Accounts
• Investigation of nominal codes
• Posting of journals
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• VAT returns
• Credit control in absence of credit controller and as main escalation point

Person Specification
The ideal Assistant Financial Controller will have/be:

• ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or AAT Qualified
• Self-starter who is keen to progress
• Willingness to learn and progress their career
• A clear understanding of the fundamentals of accounting
• Strong communication skills
