Sheridan Maine are exclusively recruiting for an Assistant Accountant position for a company based in the Bracknell area. The role will be joining a global finance team, supporting the business with international financial accounting.

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Accruals and prepayments
• Posting journals
• Processing accounts payable invoices
• Performing bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Processing supplier payments
• VAT reporting
• General ledger reconciliations
• Intercompany recharging and reconciliations
• Supporting the audit process

The desired candidate will have the following skills/ experience:

• Previous accounting experience including month end duties
• Good eye for detail
• Competent Excel skills
• AAT qualified or part qualified CIMA / ACCA (desired but not essential)
• Previous experience of working for an international (desired but not essential)
