The post holder will be a key member of the small dynamic HR Business Partnering Team who will provide administrative support and contribute to the overall HR function to ensure that an effective and efficient service is provided to all Trust Care Groups.

You may also be required to provide administrative support to Trust working groups which would be a great opportunity for you to get to know the wider Trust and build relationships with the Care Groups.

• To act as the first point of contact for queries to the Business Partnering team, relaying messages to the relevant team members in an accurate, timely and professional manner.
• General office duties, including scanning, shredding, photocopying, preparing panel packs as required.
• Accurate data entry on to electronic HR Systems to ensure information is recorded and up-to-date.
• Use of the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) and other HR Systems as appropriate.
• To deal with colleague queries via telephone and e-mail, escalating as appropriate to other business partnering team members.
• To collect and distribute all internal and external post to the Business Partnering team in a timely manner.
• To collate and submit the stationary order for approval and monitor appropriate stock levels.
• To provide routine advice on general HR queries to a number of individuals including HR team members, managers, colleagues, ensuring that HR policies, procedures and guidelines are promoted and adhered to.
• To plan and co-ordinate meetings/calls for team members.
• To take notes of team meetings, and some investigation and attendance meetings as deemed appropriate by HR Manager.
• Exercise judgement and initiative when problems arise by taking appropriate action to resolve the problems or referring to the appropriate person.
