Talent Acquisition Engagement Specialist – Remote
Location: Sheetz Corporate – Burlington, NC
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
This position is remote for candidates living in North Carolina. Preference will be given to candidates in close proximity to our NC stores and offices.
Provide the resources necessary to effectively staff all store and corporate positions to include providing support to hiring managers regarding hiring best practices and effective interviewing and selection techniques.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (other duties may be assigned)
- Recruit and maintain a qualified pool of applicants for key positions by utilizing internet sources and identifying, establishing and maintain community resources that will produce qualified candidate.
- Partner with Hiring Managers to support the development of a qualified pool of applicants for key positions.
- Provide specific metrics related to talent acquisition to include but not limited to: hires, applicant flow data and source of hire.
- Develop and deliver interviewing workshops to field and corporate hiring managers.
- Support applicant tracking processes and system enhancements.
- Work with vendors to support overall talent acquisition strategy.
- Inspire and engage co-workers to create innovative solutions that drive and support the business.
REQUIREMENTS: (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)
Education
- 4 year degree in Human Resources or related field, required
- Master Degree in Human Recourses or related field, preferred
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in areas of Talent Acquisition, recruiting and sourcing
- Knowledge and application of employment law.
Licenses/Certifications
- Valid Drivers License
