As a Talent Acquisition Operations Manager, you will be responsible to lead a team of recruiters to develop and implement a talent strategy that enables the business to attract and recruit top talent to Shaw. You will partner with HR and business leaders to understand the business goals to meet current and future talent needs. You will also be responsible for regular evaluation of our recruiting tools, processes and tactics to ensure we hire the best talent for Shaw, in accordance with EEO, OFCCP and AAP requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

• Partners with HR and business partners to develop a talent acquisition strategy and ensures alignment recruiting needs

• Provides leadership guidance and oversight of our screening and selection process in evaluating candidates

• Ensures presentation of diverse candidate slates for consideration and encourages strategic approaches for incorporating diversity in the recruitment process

• Regularly evaluates recruiting tactics, processes, technology and resources to ensure alignment to business priorities

• Monitors recruiting effectiveness metrics to ensure alignment with business direction, and makes adjustments as needed

• Proactively supports efforts to simplify and enhance both the candidate and hiring manager experience

• Leadership and development of Talent Acquisition Recruiters

• Share knowledge and identify opportunities for candidates, both internal and external, and be a resource to them in their professional development. Provide appropriate direction and coaching that may impact future career decisions.

• Support and engage in associate retention and development activities, in coordination with HR business partners

• Understands the affirmative action plan goals for the organization and initiates actions to meet those goals

• Ensures processes are compliant with Federal, State and Local legal requirement.

Required Qualifications:

• Leadership Experience – 5 years

• Ability to coach & develop others

• Ability to collaborate with leaders at all levels of the organization

• Ability to communicate effectively, in verbal and written form

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information

• Ability to build relationships, both internal and external, through influencing and fostering relationships

• Ability to take initiative and work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of recruitment trends and technologies

Preferred Work Experience:

• Specialized Experience in Recruiting/Talent Sourcing – 5 years

• Management Experience – 5+ years

• Expert knowledge of staffing and employment practices

• Expert knowledge of social recruiting trends

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree Required
