OVERVIEW:

The Key Account Manager for SharkNInja, will to the Vice President and play an integral role in driving world class account management initiatives by working closely with those retailer merchants in collaboration with SharkNinja corporate teams (sales planning, category planning & analysis, omni channel, supply chain, customer service and finance) to meet sales & profit, distribution and digital goals.

• Demonstrate Best in Class account management, driving growth in Revenue and Net Margin to help us achieve and exceed our goals. Develop and execute a strategic plan to win for your business which includes driving market share growth for both the retailer and SharkNinja, with a clear path to goal achievement.
• Ability to be a successful sales leader, acting as the “business manager“of your account, including cross-functional team leadership, financial and analytical savvy and demonstrating thoughtful leadership on how to achieve breakthrough goals at your accounts.
• Help National Account Manager to manage customer profitability, working closely with internal teams to develop quotes for new items, and manage promotional spending within ROI goals.
• Critical decision making, based on financial analysis of multiple scenarios to drive profitable growth, often diving into the details and understanding what comprises & drives contribution margin $ and %.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of account plans and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Execution & detail focused; mindful of key milestones and a demonstrated ability to create and adhere to a schedule to ensure success.
• Working with the Demand Planning and Supply Chain teams to optimize the flow of goods, including the monthly forecast cycle and long-range plans.
• Working with Category Analysis teams to POS, trends, factors impacting the business
• Gathering and communicating competitive factors impacting the business (i.e. new competitive items, competitive promotions, etc.)

ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS:

• Intimate knowledge of how to drive sales at larger retailers. Preferred sales experience working with Best Buy or national accounts and/or buying experience at a mass retailer.
• Gritty sales or merchant leader with strategic vision, execution focused, track record of overcoming obstacles, and team player not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get into the details.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills, complimented by effective oral and written communication.
• Strong analytical skills to gather and analyze large sets of data, ability to automate ing will be a true advantage
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to be able to build and maintain effective relationships
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to thrive in the SharkNinja fast-pace, “obsessed with winning”
• Solution oriented thinker and executor will enjoy solving problems to move the business forward
• Flexibility to manage objectives and deliverables in a dynamic, innovation-led culture

Requirements:

• BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience
• 2 years of experience in account management or as an associate merchant
• 4 years of experience in one of the following: sales, marketing, logistics, product management.
• Advanced Microsoft office skills (Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Previous Best Buy experience desirable
• Ability to travel approximately 6 times per year
