In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, a number of our departments across the province will require additional staffing to support our fight against COVID-19; while continuing to provide the best possible health care services to Manitobans.
Manitoba recognizes the hard work and dedication of our front-line heath care providers and we are looking for additional experienced health care providers to offer support during these unprecedented and challenging times, to help provincial efforts to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19.
Position Overview
The Workload Distribution Coordinator is responsible for assigning cases to each partner and the VCC.
Responsible for communication with Public Health offices as required.
Ensures work is completed and escalated as required.
Conducts Tracking & Reporting of completed work.
Qualifications & Skills
Post-secondary education
Highly analytical problem-solver who works well under pressure with a passion for creating excellent customer experiences, and who is open to feedback and new ideas
Demonstrated proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams and web based environments with noted expertise of MS-Excel.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner with internal and external partners
Exceptional analytical, conceptual thinking and problem solving skills
A tactful self-starter with well-rounded political acumen and experience dealing with confidential, complex and sensitive materials
Ability to quickly assimilate information, multi-task, and adapt to changing priorities to successfully operate within a deadline-driven environment
Excellent troubleshooting skills with an ability to quickly find and address the root cause of an issue
Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills with consistent follow through and execution
A proven team player with the work ethic to thrive in a virtual/remote environment along with reliable and sustainable internet access, able to connect computer via LAN line for internet connection.
