The Tax Accountant position prepares property tax reports, sales and uses tax returns, state and local income tax returns under the supervision of the Senior Tax Associate, and the Tax Department’s cash disbursements on a timely basis.

• Maintains tax records, prepares tax payments and reports.
• Estimates, prepares, and tracks monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns.
• Organizes and updates the company’s Tax database.
• Shares financial data with the Finance department.
• Identifies tax savings and suggests ways to increase profits.
• Prepares materials for internal and external auditors.
• Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Tax or related discipline (Required)
• 0-2 years relevant Tax experience (Required)

Computer Skills

• MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) – Intermediate user proficiency (Required)
• Well-versed in ERP systems required (Oracle 12 preferred, ONESOURCE property tax, Corptax, etc.) (Required)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong attention to detail with good organizational and interpersonal skills (Required)
• Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills (Required)
• Ability to analyze data and information and develop workable, compliant, and creative solutions (Required)
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and highly demanding environment (Required)
