We are hiring an experienced Digital Marketing Content Coordinator to assist in the continued growth of SGC Foodservice in a digital space. This role will encompass social media management, article writing, and content for customer-facing platforms. This is a Hybrid-Remote role – must be able to commute to the Springfield office.
Responsibilities for Digital Marketing Coordinator
· Familiarize yourself with SGC brand ideals, customer-facing platforms, social media & website to create content that supports objectives and desired identity
· Management of targeted content for the company’s various digital marketing tools for SGC Foodservice and other joint venture partners; including the running of Social Media accounts
· Working closely with our Culinary Team to capture content for recipes, menus, and customers
· Maintain knowledge of key social media tools, best practices, and emerging trends
· Create content for SGC Foodservice’s Social Media accounts; including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.
· Work closely with Creative & Marketing Teams to polish content for publication; this includes writing articles for SGC’s print publication
· Cooperate with the marketing team to create web content and monitor its effectiveness over time, including writing blogs, and website updates
· Assist in the maintenance of a content marketing calendar that schedules all aspects of the creation and delivery of content throughout the year
· Use target keywords to write search-engine copy that is optimized for search engines (SEO) while remaining entertaining and informative
· Stay abreast of current best practices in the foodservice industry and review competitor websites to compare their activities with those of SGC Foodservice
· Develop in-depth understanding of foodservice industry and SGC Foodservice product mix
Qualifications for Marketing Content Specialist
· Ability to conceive fresh and appealing ideas for new content that establishes or supports SGC’s brand identity
· Excellent knowledge of social platforms, to include: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
· Experience with social media engagement strategies and best practices; including ad placements
· Experience with digital management and monitoring tools (Hootsuite)
· Expertise with using SEO best practices to write creative copy that includes effective keyword placement
· Strong organization and time-management skills
· Strong skills in creating original content that targets a specific audience and meets SGC objectives
· Advanced research and written communication skills, experience with blog writing preferred
· Excellent verbal communication skills with a good command of the English language
· Proficient technical knowledge of MS Office
· Experience with Adobe suite or Canva is a plus
· Photography Experience preferred; specifically with DSLR cameras
