The Purchase Ledger Assistant is responsible for setting up new suppliers, generating invoices and purchase order numbers, processing payments, credits and statements, resolving invoice queries and undertaking monthly reporting.

WHAT WE NEED:

• Previous experience in a finance or accounts office
• Relevant qualifications such as Degree in Finance & Accounting or AAT or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication skills as you’ll be dealing with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
• To be able to work at a fast pace and be able to prioritise well under pressure
• Good IT skills in particular MS Excel

WHAT ABOUT COVID19…

Interviews will take place via video link on Teams and this role will be temporarily based from home with equipment provided however the business will be taking a blended approach to office/work from home by the end of October which includes 2 days in the office and 3 work from home so you must be able to get to the office at Cardiff Gate when required.
