As a Data Analyst

You will be responsible for producing analytical s for customers that help them save time, money and run a safer fleet. The Business Analytics Specialist employs advanced analytical and technical skills to prepare customer-oriented tools and s in support of the Commercial Division.

• Partnering with key organisational colleagues to provide analytical insights and recommendations to customers
• Collaborating with stakeholders to establish requirements and propose appropriate analytics solutions
• Modelling data for new analytics products or features
• Designing, building and supporting analytics products within the cloud data warehouse, Microsoft Power Platform and the Microsoft Office suite
• Undertaking scheduled and ad-hoc ing activities as required, maintaining a strong focus on quality and opportunities to enrich the standard product suite
• Collaborating effectively with organisational colleagues to deliver a greater level of service to external customers
• Demonstrating an in-depth understanding of fleet management principles to enrich the analytics product suite

Essential

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced spreadsheet and database management skills
• Good working knowledge of the broader MS Office application suite
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills to work independently and meet deadlines
• Ability to implement, maintain and improve quality standards and controls
• Strong communication skills to effectively coach colleagues and customers on analytical concepts
• Effective communication both verbally and in writing; demonstrate good listening and probing skills

Desirable

• Experience with building visualisations (such as PowerBI or Tableau)
• Experience with writing SQL to manipulate data
• Experience in working within a team to deliver projects
• Experience with using ETL/ELT tools and interacting with cloud data warehouses
• Experience with scripting (in Python, VBA, etc.)
