Recruiting Specialist

NCC is searching for a Recruiting Specialist to add to our growing team. Do you have a background in high-volume sourcing and recruiting or phone-based B2B sales? Do you enjoy finding the needle in the haystack? Using various sourcing strategies, this talent acquisition role recruits independent insurance agents and agencies nationwide to contract through us for senior health insurance products offered by a variety of insurance carriers.

Responsibilities

• sourcing/prospecting and recruiting agents by initiating calls and contacts to introduce NCC’s services, explaining our value proposition, and securing fruitful contracts with agents
• provide personalized service to agents through the initiation/acquisition phase, including explaining various insurance products available, thoroughly answering questions, and solving problems that may arise
• use discretion to negotiate any override rates on behalf of the organization based on an analysis of past production
• set agent expectations for the onboarding process and ensure a smooth hand-off to the agent onboarding team
• follow up with interested agents as needed to secure additional contracts
• remain up to date and educated on the senior insurance market and products offered in assigned territories
• develop rapport and working relationships with carrier market managers in assigned territories
• maximize leads from a variety of sources (digital marketing, organic search, licensure s, referrals, etc.) and utilize own research skills to create a pipeline of agents to onboard
• partner with the digital marketing team to create innovative sourcing strategies that will attract agents
• collaborate across SFG and NCC for process improvements, cross-training, and to increase the value we offer to agents and agencies

Basic Job Requirements

• BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience and demonstrated success with high-volume recruitment and/or B2B sales
• high level of technology/business acumen
• computer and internet proficiency, especially proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• experience working with a CRM (Customer Relations Management system)
• proficient communication in English (verbal and written); excellent grammar and spelling
• experience with online training platforms and videoconferencing tools, e.g., Teams, WebEx, GoToMeeting, Zoom
• an excellent phone voice combined with the ability to speak clearly and communicate well by phone for 6+ hours per day
• some occasional domestic travel may be required for insurance industry events, recruitment events, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• demonstrated knowledge of Medicare and other Senior insurance products
• experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and other tools for high-volume sourcing
• previous experience recruiting independent contractors or sales professionals
• understanding of the insurance carrier-agent ecosystem
• experience with a Field Marketing Organization (FMO) or insurance carrier
• entrepreneurial experience, large or small
• community/volunteer leadership experience
• online recruitment sourcing experience using LinkedIn, Google, and other avenues
• experience using AgencyBloc and/or HubSpot CRM platforms
• fluency in additional language(s) is helpful to expand marketing capabilities

Compensation

Exempt/Salaried plus bonus

NOTE: This position can be a hybrid, Knoxville-based role or a remote role with occasional travel to Knoxville.
