SFC Engineering Partnership is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their team.

Requirements of the Civil Engineer:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or higher.

· Licensed P.E.

· 5+ years of relevant experience in a civil engineering application, preferably in land subdivision and site plan experience, including utility design.

· Knowledge of land development regulations.

· Knowledge of relevant civil engineering and construction principles, practices, laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.

· Proficiency in Civil 3D and HydroCAD.

· Proficiency with technical writing, office software and engineering analysis.

· Experience working effectively with permitting agencies and making public presentations.

· Strong organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with the team, clients, and external parties.

Responsibilities of the Civil Engineer:

· Manage projects from initiation to completion including budgeting, project ing, bid review, etc., ensuring quality and client satisfaction.

· Work with permitting agencies to ensure project compliance with land development regulations. Coordinate to ensure that all permitting paperwork and documentation is submitted timely.

· Present project specifications and overview in public hearings, community meetings and client presentations.

· Manage the completion of project applications, production of project documents and materials, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to clients.

· Support projects by gathering data for permit applications, assisting with documenting change orders, and working with the lead engineer to develop project schedules and deliverable timelines.

· Make visits to sites to monitor project progress and ensure that projects are completed according to specifications and construction codes.

SFC Engineering Partnership is a small, privately owned engineering firm that provides general civil engineering and fire protection services but also has niche specialty in the growing campground design sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced P.E. to take a project from contract to “happy client” managing all components for projects that range from the design of commercial and residential sites to infrastructure design.
