SF Group Hiring for Human Resources Director at South Yorkshire Full Time

The Organisation

Our client is a leading Business Services organisation based in South Yorkshire. Following on from recent Private Equity investment and ahead of an exciting period of growth, they are looking to hire their first HR Director to take the lead in setting their people strategy.

The Role

Reporting in to the CEO, this is an exciting opportunity for you to take ownership of the HR strategy and to lead a capable HR team. You will devise and implement the people strategy (including policies and procedures) as the organisation grows. To achieve this, you will ensure the organisation’s values are reflected in people-orientated decisions and create an inviting and cohesive employee experience. As well as this, you will direct your team in owning the day-to-day operational duties for the function. This role represents a real opportunity to guide the business through a positive, transitional period and get some truly tangible results from doing so.

Key Requirements

• Proven track record of building and leading the strategy on an HR function, ideally within a consultancy / people-led service business
• Experience of working in a transitional and high growth environment
• Experience of working within a Private Equity backed business would be advantageous
• Ability to build team culture and embrace company values into employees’ actions / decisions
• Team orientated – hands on approach to training, developing and upskilling employees
• High level leadership and communication skills
