SF Group Hiring for Head of People Job at Milton Keynes, England Full Time

SF Recruitment are currently recruiting a Head of People for a fast paced, dynamic SME based in Milton Keynes. This is a stand-alone role, providing all HR Support with an emphasis on people development.
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 depending on experience
Area: Milton Keynes (office based 1-2 days per week)

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for all aspects of the Human Resources function with a focus on, talent acquisition, people development, employee engagement, talent management and employee relations
• Creating and implementing the People strategy aligned with business goals.
• Implementing PDR and appraisal processes
• Evolving the culture and embedding the values across our People strategy
• Create and implement the Talent Management and Development strategy, including all L&D activities, development plans and succession planning.
• Continuous improvement to our process and systems, including onboarding and offboarding employees, our performance management process, compensation, rewards, and recognition plans.
• Be seen as the primary trusted point of contact for the team, providing HR support and guidance
• Develop and implement a plan to build and embed our culture and values across the organisation.
• Provide support, coaching, training and advice to managers and staff on all human resource issues
• Manage complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement, and redundancy.
• Develop HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes.
• Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary.
• Support change management processes.
• Supervise the work of HR personnel and provide guidance

Requirements for the role

• Experience of developing senior leadership teams
• Have proven generalist HR experience at Manager-Senior level. You may have worked in a stand-alone role
• Experience of working with Volunteers and partnering agencies
• Be a confident, independent, and effective decision maker; a self-starter with strong influencing skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ideally CIPD Level 7 Qualified
