Job Summary:
ing to the VP, Sales and Marketing and working within an established team, the Product Marketing Manager is responsible for defining the end-user marketing strategy, product positioning, go-to-market messaging, follow-through marketing strategies, and collaborating with the marketing team on the execution of those plans. The Product Marketing Manager will drive the planning and execution of marketing programs, and will oversee the creation of photo, video and written content for social media, web, advertising, email, and dealer communications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music and for supporting musicians along their creative journey.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Undertake coordination of the company’s marketing initiatives and product launches;
Develop product positioning, value proposition, and messaging;
Build and communicate the Go-To-Market strategies for new product introductions;
Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather and share important data;
Assist and define success metrics for promotional events, product launches and develop traditional or digital campaigns;
Prepare and deliver promotional presentations, as needed;
Compose marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc.) to augment the company’s presence in the market;
Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement marketing and product plans, based on strategic objectives;
Manage company and product branding initiatives and standards;
Lead and manage team through oversight of the creation of copy, photography, video, ad layouts and visual direction;
Lead and manage marketing initiatives, analytics and automation;
Work effectively with the sales team on growth initiatives and nurturing strategies;
Lead marketing efforts to support the New Product Development team;
Build brand awareness through various media outlets;
Plan advertising campaigns;
Collect and analyze market research data;
Identify potential markets and define metrics to test them;
Work within various channels to promote company products;
Track and manage budgets.
Qualifications:
Guitar player, preferred;
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Public Relations, or similar discipline, preferred;
Relevant recent experience with tactical and strategic marketing, advertising and brand management;
Astute and effective copywriting capabilities;
Ability to effectively track and monitor new product launches;
Commercial aptitude, solid understanding of B2B and B2C relationships and thorough understanding of traditional and digital marketing principles;
Proficient in analytics and market testing;
Extensive knowledge of current and relevant market and related trends;
Proficiency in the MS Office Suite of products;
Proficiency with a variety of relevant marketing software applications;
Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills;
Astute time management, attention to detail, organizational, planning, effective multi-tasking, problem-solving, follow-through and exceptional customer service skills;
Ability to work effectively alone and within a team environment.
Compensation:
$80K – $110K annual base salary DOE, for this full-time, exempt position.
