About the position:

SewerAI just raised our series A from several industry leading venture capital firms including Emerald Ventures water fund and we are now looking for a finance manager to help put in place the policies and practice that we need to take our company to the next level. We are looking for an energetic and driven individual that is excited to contribute to a growing company that is helping to improve the world’s infrastructure and helping to clean up the environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance department including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.

• Perform financial management duties including compiling and submitting monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, analyzing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company.

• Oversee long-term budgetary planning and costs management in alignment with the company strategic plan. Make the linkage between the firm’s business strategy and financial strategy.

• Manage automated invoicing system, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable and company books.

• Bring strong functional leadership to the finance team with a holistic approach to finance, business processes and systems

Experience and skills:

• 3-5 years managing the finance department of a small to medium sized startup.

• Development of annual budgeting plans

• Managing books and properly categorizing opex.

• Excellent communication skills

• Knowledge of GAAP

• CPA nice to have but not required.

Pay: $95,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
