We are hiring a Business Analyst to join our Threat Defence and Response Team to support our maturity and growth. Working with the Head of Security Operations Enablement, your main tasks will include capturing, managing and driving maturity efforts, performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and updating stakeholders on the progress of our initiatives.
To succeed in this role, you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to understand and communicate technical concepts to all audiences. You’ll have experience and/or a strong interest in Cyber Security, have an appreciation for security compliance requirements and be passionate about continuous improvement, particularly around business process. Experience in application workflow creation and management would also be hugely advantageous.
Business Analyst Responsibilities:
Evaluating both new and existing processes, identifying new requirements, recommending areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
Leading ongoing reviews of these processes to ensure their continued maturity.
Driving best-in-practice standards across all areas.
Leveraging the power of our platform wherever possible.
Identifying process automation opportunities and driving them forward.
Supporting the team in relation to compliance and audit requirements.
Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and capturing action items, driving them to resolution.
Documenting and effectively communicating progress to cross-functional team members and management.
Creating, managing and communicating appropriate success metrics.
Supporting user acceptance testing to ensure smooth transition.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role:
A bachelor’s degree in business, related field, or an MBA and/ or a minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or aligned role.
Experience working with Security Incident Response, Threat Detection and/ or other Cybersecurity teams is highly desirable.
The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
End-to-end process management experience.
A track record of following through on commitments.
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Excellent documentation skills.
Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
Remote
A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home.
