Outpatient Clinic Medical Assistant.
Full time; Monday-Friday: 9:00am-5:00pm
$17.00-$19.00
Position Summary:
Join us in our busy outpatient community mental health clinic, bringing your positive outlook and excellent skills to help set people at ease as you work closely with our nurses and medical providers. As our medical assistant, you will work with a wide variety of clients, including people with chronic mental illness, substance use, developmental disabilities, or autism.
Position Responsibilities:
- Taking vital signs as indicated by the doctors and/or nurses.
- Completing prior approvals for medication.
- Responding to client’s telephone calls and messages
- Working as a TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) technician: Receiving training to provide back up to the full time TMS technician as needed.
- Provide assistance to the nurses for the esketamine clinic.
- Checking Mass Pat for the doctors.
- Other responsibilities as needed for the Outpatient Division Medication Clinic.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma with prior experience.
- Associate degree preferred.
- Current Medical Assistant Certification.
- Excellent computer skills; Accurate computer entries.
- Communication skills (verbal and written); bilingual in English / Spanish (not required).
