Exciting internal Talent Acquisition / Recruitment opportunity with Service Stream’s People & Culture team, based in either Melbourne VIC, Sydney NSW, or Brisbane QLD.

Service Stream’s People & Culture team are seeking a Talent Acquisition Consultant to drive and facilitate end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition activities for vacancies with varying requirements and levels across the Service Stream Group. This permanent, full-time opportunity has flexibility to be based from offices in Melbourne VIC, Sydney NSW, or Brisbane QLD.

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, this role is responsible for working closely with Hiring Managers to enable and empower effective hiring decisions through needs analysis, specialist advice and application of policy and procedure to support Business delivery and the talent acquisition strategy.

Service Stream’s Talent Acquisition Consultant role will suit a highly motivated and outcome driven individual who has a passion for delivering positive client outcomes, and a knack for effective stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Business to facilitate and manage end-to-end talent acquisition process
• Action recruitment brief & needs analysis with Hiring Managers to understand role requirements
• Manage timeline expectations and devise recruitment strategy based on business needs and Talent Acquisition policy and procedure
• Implement & facilitate candidate sourcing methods such as redeployment, dynamic/static pipelines, internal and external job board advertising, proactive search etc
• Manage candidate application and communication in a timely manner
• Conduct application screening process to shortlist suitable candidates
• Interview guide preparation, meeting coordination and competency-based interview facilitation
• Conduct and facilitate appropriate background and pre-employment checks
• Engage and guide internal stakeholders to ensure timely process and delivery of effective hiring outcomes and positive candidate experience
• Assist Talent Acquisition Manager with ongoing development of Business capabilities and talent acquisition strategy

About You

To be successful in this role, you are an adaptable and resilient individual with demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment with a similar organisation or industry. We are seeking an individual with demonstrated knowledge of, and experience with end-to-end recruitment process facilitation either internally, or with an external recruitment agency, or with relevant transferable experience. You will demonstrate and possess the following:

• Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. HR) desirable, however not essential
• Understanding and knowledge of employment law and Human Resources practices and legislation
• Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement ability
• Organised approach to work with excellent prioritisation & time management skills
• Business and candidate outcome driven
• Intermediate level with Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with HCM, ATS or CRM system (Workday highly desirable)
