Exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Administrator to join Service Stream’s Wireless team within the Telecommunication division
About the Role

Service Stream’s Telecommunications division are currently seeking a Finance Administrator join our team. You will be responsible for various administration/ finance and accounting tasks to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Account for and process financial statements and reports under supervision to accurately reflect the company’s financial results and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards.

Nature of position: Permanent Full Time
Location: Flexible-Melbourne/Sydney/Brisbane
Reporting Line: Project Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Process invoices and other accounts documentation in accordance with company procedures, which may involve checking and confirming liability for payment, obtaining authorisations for payment and allocating expenditure to correct budget accounts.

• Create Site Invoices on the client when they are due

• Update the monthly Debtors report for issuing to the Client

• Create of new Sites within Jobpac

• Reconciliate Client Po’s to Internal systems to ensure Data is always up to date

• Closing of cost codes with JobPac

• Check and report variations between invoiced amounts and payments received and verifying discounts or rebates taken.

• Prepare journal entries and effect trial balances as required, which may involve carrying out general banking duties and extracting statistical data from records for analysis;

• Collate data for end-of-month purposes,

• Assist with the preparation of Head Contract and Subcontract claims/variations, forecasting and accruals

About You
To be successful for this role, you have:

• Comprehensive experience in a related finance clerk or similar role, and/or knowledge of computer-based accounting systems.

• Experience and / or knowledge of company policies, practices and personnel in order to effectively carry out responsibilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Ability to work autonomously with good attention to detail

• Previous experience in Jobpac is desirable
