Looking for PSW’s and DSW’s to fill assisted living positions/group homes.

Position: Personal Support Workers and Developmental Service Workers.

We are currently looking to add caring, passionate, and enthusiastic PSW’s and DSW’s to our team! The ideal candidate will be available to work rotating shifts that can include days, afternoons, overnights, and weekends. We offer competitive wages.

Must have:

• DSW Degree/Diploma and/or PSW Certificate
• Prior experience specifically related to working with youth and young adults living with developmental disabilities.
• Have either a reliable mode of transportation (bus, train) OR a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for commuting.
• A clear updated Police Criminal Record and able to get a Vulnerable Sector Screening Check
• A negative Tuberculosis skin test is also required upon hire.
• Current certification in CPR and First Aid is mandatory
• Broad awareness of other cultures, values, identities, and perspectives with a demonstrated ability and interest in working with and for diverse populations
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Provides appropriate personal and physical care as needed, including but not limited to: hygiene and toiletry, medication administration, and crisis response
• Excellent clinical skills, including experience and ability to work with and manage difficult behaviors
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to write legible, clear and concise reports and person-centered plans
