SCI supports individuals with disabilities, behavioral challenges, medically complex needs, transitioning youth, the elderly, and other populations using the state-mandated Targeted Case Management work model.
Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment for all open positions within the organization. This role will be involved in Talent Acquisition and other People & Culture cross-functional duties and initiatives to create a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.

Essential Duties:
Full-cycle recruitment, including but not limited to reviewing resumes, setting up interviews, phone-screens, creating applicant folders, assigning pre-employment assessments, candidate communication, tracking interview process, sending out rejection notices, conducting reference checks
Maintain accountability for a positive candidate experience by ensuring that sourcing, recruiting, reference checks and communication processes run smoothly, efficiently and in an equitable manner
Maintain and update TA documents and spreadsheets as needed
Coordinate cross-functional information between different departments
Work with the TA Manager to develop and promote ideas for process improvements for more equitable, streamlined, and scalable Talent Acquisition practices
Source applicants through online channels and Applicant Tracking System (ATS), such as LinkedIn, AcquireTM and other professional networks
Assist the Sourcer to organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline for future openings
Back-up the Team Member Experience team for onboarding team members; including, sending offer letters, collecting new team member paperwork, enter new team members in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) systems, conduct background checks, welcome letters, sending IT (Information Technology) tickets and other onboarding tasks
Various other People & Culture duties and special projects as assigned

Education Required:
Associate’s degree in Business and/or Human Resources or relevant experience; Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Human Resources preferred
SHRM or PHR/SPHR certification preferred
Experience Required:
1-3 years of experience in the HR field with a bachelor’s degree in a related field, i.e., Business or Human Resources
4-6 years of HR experience with associate’s degree
